The original brief for the project suggested a standardised conservatory to provide an additional dayroom facility for an elderly person’s residential complex.
We developed the design to produce a room with the light and airy qualities of a glazed structure, with a sloping ceiling and continuous glazed roof apex, yet with the benefit of mitigating against the extremes of summer and winter temperatures to provide a year round facility.
