Private House & Offices, Barton Le Street

Barton-Le-Street vicarage is a small country house designed by York architect Walter Brierley in the early 20th century. It was aquired by the Diocese of York in the 1960’s.
In 1999 we were commisioned by the Diocese to organise refitting and an extension to provide a residence for the Bishop of Selby.
The kitchen, utility room and a bathroom were completely refitted. At the rear a single storey extension was added containing a study and secretarys office designed to match the original house.
The project was completed to programme and on budget and the improvements have proved to be very satisfactory.

The project was completed in 2000
