Following instructions to extend this 18th C listed property to the rear; a proposal was agreed instead to develop the roof space into 2 bedrooms and shower, accessed from a stair extended up from the existing.
At first floor, the bedroom adjacent to the master bedroom was converted into en-suite and dressing facilities.
In-situ bespoke wardrobes, redecoration throughout, and refurbishment of the encaustic tiled floor in the entrance hall completed the project.
New roof structure and windows to the rear (over the stair) were clad in lead and reclaimed blue slates to match existing materials.
The project was completed in 2002
