Our clients’ brief was to restore and renovate their barn in a sympathetic way to make a large space which could be used for musical concerts and other such activities.
The whole project presented a real challenge because the remains of the original structure were in a parlous state, the roof had collapsed completely. We worked closely with the local planning authority to ensure the finished result was aesthetically acceptable within this rural area.
The glazed sections forming part of the roof and link give a quality of light which fills the whole space admirably.
