English Heritage, Buildings at Risk

In a pilot scheme launched in 2004, Ferrey & Mennim are providing architectural consultancy services to English Heritage for the repair of five scheduled ancient monuments in Yorkshire.
As lead consultant, the practice is responsible for all elements of the project, including survey, specification, directing works on site, maintenance plans, planning supervision, cost control and liaison with specialist archaeologists.
The first phase of the project will see the repair of Neville Castle at Kirkbymoorside, Seamer Manor House, The New Tower at Crayke Castle, John O’Gaunts Castle near Harrogate and Kyme Castle near Tadcaster.
